Bulbs as Garden Porn
I thought I’d share this link to a series of Doonesbury cartoons about bulb planting. They’re a funny take on how the descriptions in some plant catalogs can sometimes read almost like soft porn. That’s a sad but true commentary on gardeners in general! I know I’ve been guilty of dropping much more important tasks just to pour over the latest plant catalogs – especially when they arrive in the dead of winter.
I hope you’ll get a good laugh from the cartoons just like I did and I bet you’ll see a bit of yourself in Z. I sure did. There are six different cartoons so just keep hitting next on top of the cartoon strip until you get to the last one in the series.
